Johnny and I could not be more pleased with our shoot today.  It was definitely a learning experience for the both of us.  However, Miss Sophia was wonderful and photographed beautifully.  We want to give a big thanks to Jessica for welcoming us into her home and allowing us to photograph her beautiful little girl.  {jenna}

let the countdown begin

I don't think I can even being to express how excited I am for my first newborn shoot this weekend! My friend Rachel and I went thrifting this past weekend in Norfolk for photo props.  It definitely ended up being a successful day.  Not only did I find the perfect prop (old wooden egg crate), but we also managed to squeeze in a wine tasting. YUM. I've been studying different photographers in order to get some ideas and prepare for the shoot.  I found a company in California called Baby as Art and I'm completely obsessed with their work.  The shot below is one of my absolute favorites. 

Is that not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a grassy spot like this, but I will certainly continue my search.  Looking forward to sharing pictures from the shoot! Stay posted!  {jenna}

rainy days

Just a photo we took yesterday when we were cooped up inside.  Seriously, what's with this weather? Isn't it supposed to be warm in the spring? Looking forward to some possible warm weather this weekend, as well as our first newborn shoot!! Very excited and very nervous, but I know it is going to turn out great!
